i have a whole bunch of second tier records that i picked up for 25 cents or less over the years; lately i've found respite in tossing them on in place of the usual fare of stuff that i listen to. it's nigh time for an mp3 enema!

I said I liked Tennis, I just had to bust you a little on that.

Haim is inexcusable.

I don't get the Haim love either after giving their album a spin, but Bagels wasn't the first person I heard from
that really liked it. I know people won't agree with my top 5 albums whenever that thread goes up, that is what
makes music fun I guess.

i just found out that my 3rd favorite musician ever, the mighty ceephax acid crew, dropped a new EP a few days ago called World Dissolver. it's fucking yeah. http://ceephax.bandcamp.com to catch some free previews / cheap digi-downloads... or just click on the picture below to catch the smashing music video from the EP...

Zeph--ever seen BTS live? it's a mixed bag but they played the shit out of "the dream police" and i met doug martsch and he's a pretty cool guy.

Man, I love Spiderland. Do you have Pajo's solo album, Live from a Shark Cage?

Oh, that's Sky Ferreira. "Everything Is Embarrassing" was one of the better songs of last year. Yeah, go check it out.

Sky's "24 Hours" would been perfect for a John Hughes movie!
The whole record is good, as is Blood Orange's.

I don't like youtube links and very rarely click on them but do yourself a favor and check out Robert Palmer covering Marvin Gaye, Every Kinda People from the Midnight Special, 1978. This song just fucking grooves. Great bass line . Makes me feel good.
