Drinky: Woooo hooooo!!!!!!! Nice one!!!! Fuck the Bear!!!! How far you come on that "Drinky is great" paper?

Baby McNown: I tried dude. But I've got nothing good about you. After thinking about it, I actually think you suck like the rest of CSFMB. I'm just fighting for you cuz I hate Beardown.

Beardown: I can appreciate that.

Drinky: Wooo hooo!!!! Fuck yeah!!! That means I'm a good broadcaster. It means I'm smart and funny, right? I win, right?

Baby McNown: Oy. You're not helping yourself, drink.

Beardown:

Ahhhh yes. Beardown typing his little plays instead of owning up the fact that he tried to create a straw man and failed. That's the Beardown way. Just keep yapping and yapping and pray nobody calls you out when you are full of shit. And if they do, fuck it. Just pretend they didn't

White Women: We hate him too if it makes you feel better. But it was no straw man. He's right on this one.

Beardown: Thanks. One of you want to go on a date?

White Women: (Drinks in Beardown's face)

A broken clock tells the current time twice a day. Some might take that as meaning that when right that it is 100% correct. But in the context of a whole day that clock shows the current time for only 2 of the 1440 minutes in the day. Which is about 1.3% of the time.

It may have been though. That's the point.

The Bears may be denying that shutting him down was an option, but the fact that Jay Cutler has been "Week To Week" for four weeks now, and even today, Trestman said "We'll see how he feels" next week indicates that it may be a season ender.

but, if they knew it was a season ender at the time of the report they would not have taken him out of the walking boot and he would not be practicing. Also for that to be true you must believe that Cutler is not only lying through his teeth and that he chose to use his show two weeks ago as the platform for lying.

Again, I don't believe drinky said it was a season ender. I believe he said they were worried it may be and that surgery was being considered. That looks pretty accurate so far.

So what you are saying is that even if Jay doesn't play another snap and is on the table the day after the season ends, because Cutty wasn't in the OR sliced open as Matty was reporting, he is wrong no matter what the truth ends up being?

Reporting is an entirely different thing than analyzing. You report facts. You can speculate based upon that knowledge. Think of it like reporting today that the Bears won on Monday. They may. You may have reason to believe they may. However, that report is just clearly false and it calls into question your credibility in the future.

I don't know whether he is wrong. I think there is a lot of evidence that he was. However, the final outcome should not be used as evidence either for or against his original report.

He reported it as they were taking the boot off of him after an MRI revealed significant progress in the healing process.

You and beardown are looking at this the wrong way. B&B and crew's inside scoops are great entertainment. They always get played and they always end up wrong. The longer Cutler stays out the more emboldened drink will be to join B&B in sharing "scoops". I'm rooting for drink on this one. Not to mention he drives beardown crazy.

Yeah. There seems to have been significant progress. So much progress that Cutler is missing his targeted return date!

The alternative is that they are lying about the MRI and the doctor's took off the immobilization boot to join in the gamesmanship to the physical detriment of the patient

The most logical thing here is that surgery was on the table then and was getting serious consideration, but they decided to see how it goes for the next couple weeks, and surgery and the season being over is still on the table. That would make drinky's report at least plausible.

I predict if the Bears lose to the Cowboys that Cutler is done for the season.

every action by the doctors, all within about 24 hours of the report mind you, contradicts the position.

Here's what I think happened. Drinky has talked about dealing with a bad ankle sprain himself. So he's informed on the injury. So he probably was talking about Cutler with his doctor or therapist. And one of those two might have said to him, "Ya know, the Bears have to be worried that Cutler might need surgery. Good chance he tore his tendon and it's not healing properly."

Booom!!!! Drinky has an expert source on ankle sprains. Which is true. It's just not a "Bears Source". That's not the way you report stuff. It's the same as going to WebMD.com and saying that's your source. Drinky doesn't understand or just wanted to get his name out there. One of the two or both.

Like I said, that's just a guess. But I think it's pretty plausible.

And since Beardown has so often been correct in his assumptions about what happens at the Score, we all should put a lot of credit into his hypothesis.

Contradicts what position? The position is that he may need surgery and they are considering shutting him down for the season. That could still be true right now. If he doesn't play this season, it is hard to hold it against drinky for reporting he may be shut down for the season. If Cutler was playing on Monday, which he claimed was likely, then drinky was clearly wrong.

Are you saying that shutting him down for the season has been off the table since 24 hours of the report? Let's see what happens if the Bears lose on Monday.

Cutler didn't say likelyon his radio show. He said 100% he is playing. So far only Cutler has been wrong in this ordeal.

I think it's similar to what Goff did.

Goff should not have reported that Lebron was coming to the Bulls just because the pimp, crack dealer and hooker outside the United Center told him it was gonna happen. Were the pimp, crack dealer and hooker sources? Technically, yes. Just not good sources that any credible reporter would use.

No really Beardown. Instead of drumming up other conspiracies on which you quite obviously don't have a clue, tell us how Cutty is like Jason Goff. We're all waiting with bated breath.
