I have learned today from the internet that Nelson Mandela was probably the greatest human who ever lived except for maybe Jesus Christ Our Lord.

Gary Kubiak, however, was a better football coach.

Glad you are feeling better Coach.

Not get the fuck out of here.

Just read that Lovie Smith will interview with Texans.

When you die they usually say nice things about you and exaggerate just a little.

Because if anyone can turn around an offense it's Lovie.

He's from Texas so that may be a good fit. They have great pieces on defense. Too bad their offensive stars are old or have a virtually career ending back injury.

I hope there is a TV in the room that Lovie can stare cluelessly at.

They should make a run at Jason Kidd.

Lovie wants Cutler to cost him two jobs?

 It was a joke. Cutler was probably the only Bears player happy to see Lovie go but he couldn't say it publically because the other players loved him so much.

It would be fucking awesome if Rex & Lovie teamed up in Houston, & they played against the Bears in the SB.

If Lovie gets hired then hires an OC from a team not named Patriots, Broncos, 49ers, Saints, etc., then he learned nothing from his dismissal.

The Cowboys was his dream job. I have to imagine the Texans would be a nice consolation prize.

What the blue hell does where he's from have to do with anything?

I believe being able to work in the state he was born and raised is appealing to him. I also imagine that would be something the Texans would sell to their fan base.

I would think he would take any NFL head job.

I would have to think someone offers him a head job this winter. If he's learned from his offensive coordinator mistakes he will have a chance to do well somewhere.

I like Lovie, but if he didn't learn it in nine years here, why would he learn it now? But anyway, his real problem was and is, it's hard to find brilliant offensive minds these days that are willing to be just an O.C. That's why even the Trestmans of the world are head coaches. He wouldn't have left his gig in Canada to just be an O.C. in the NFL.
