Bernstein: Bunch of motha fuckin', athletic, wang-whippers on this field.

Beardown: Not on defense. And we all know "wang-whipper" is code for that other word.

The OVER/UNDER was 59.5. Most people took the OVER in the country.

Las Vegas:

#19 on Auburn...White maybe?? Most classless thing I have seen in a long time. Should have been ejected. Should never play again. Just as bad as Haynesworth. He could have broken that kids neck or worse with that disgusting play.

Should have been ejected immediately.
If the SEC doesn't step in and suspend him for the bowl, it's a joke.

It was a personal foul. Don't think #19 realized he was throwing him into the cart. In fact, I'm sure of it. So, no worse than any other late hit out of bounds. When there is no injury, there is not an outrage for these type of plays.

Because he did throw him into the cart, people will make a bigger deal of it. But late hits out of bounds happen all the time.

Not defending him, just saying it's not as evil as it will be perceived.

THat was not like just any other late hit. The guy was several steps out of bounds and he threw him to the ground. No matter if he intended to push him into the cart or not he still did and it could have been really bad. Cannot let stuff like that go on.

Just saying if he doesn't hit a cart, you're not outraged. If he just rolls on the turf without hitting anything, bounces back up, nobody in the America says anything. And we have seen late hits just like that one where that is the case. That's all.

Hey Beardown. The player actually hit the cart. In real life.

Hey Spanky. The Spanky missed the point. In real life.

Multiple times you've posted a hypothetical about "if he didn't hit the cart, then....."
He hit the cart. In real life. Thus the outrage. I've never seen anybody, ever - say somebody should be suspended for a normal "hit out of bounds" penalty. This wasn't a normal transgression.

Beardown:

spanky: :farao:

Everybody else on the board:

I'm saying I don't think he was trying to throw him into the cart nor did he even know it was there. I'm saying similar late hits have happened. Now, if you have always been outraged at late hits like this, then fine. Not talking to you.

I've seen plenty like this one. Penalty? Yes. Bad? Yes. But is this more evil than the hundreds - if not thousands - of times, in the history of football, where nobody is injured and nobody hits the cart on a similar play? No. So I'm not gonna deem this as the most disgusting thing I've ever seen in football. Cuz it's happened plenty.

Clear?

Spanky: But he hit the cart!!!!

Beardown: Jeez. It's never gonna get through.

Spanky: Do you not realize he hit the cart!!!!!

Beardown: Christ!!!

Spanky: Cart!!!! He hit it!!!!

Beardown: Son of a bitch!!!!

Spanky: Cart!!! Cart!!! Cart!!!! Hit!!!! Hit!!! Hit!!!!

Beardown: Fuck!!!

Spanky: Tell you what Beardown, since you seem to think it's fun being thrown into a cart off a dead sprint, why don't you let CSFMB do it to you? That's what you're saying you want, isn't it?

Beardown: :shaking:

All I will say is, cart play notwithstanding, this was an outstanding offensive game. Today has had quite a few terrific games. Glad Auburn won (based on some fuckhead Missourah fans I know). Even happier Michigan State won (fuck the Suckeyes).

Looking forward to bowl season.

So it's going to be the Rapists vs. the Cart-Tossers for the National Championship?

That seems like a pick 'em game.

Saw that Auburn had 545 yards rushing and naively thought it might be close to a record...then looked it up and learned that Oklahoma had 768 yards rushing against Kansas State in 1988.

Back then, all they did was run the ball. And Kansas State was bad.

768 rushing yards given up is about two games' worth of work for the Bears D.
