Since August the Sox have added MLB ready young talent. If everything goes right they have their #1, 3 and 4 hitters in place, all under control for 5 years. They have their bell cow SP under control for 6 more years. That is a pretty impressive transition...if everything goes right. If not, all they lost was Peavey and Santiago, both of whom I like, but neither of whom was going to hold back the tide of massive overhaul in the incredibly near future. This seems to be pretty good work on the fly by Hahn.

I think he should keep the pedal to the metal.

However, two of those players have starting MLB service. It really isn't a matter of whether or not those two can play in the majors or not. It is a question of how good each will be.

I didn't mean this as a Cubs comparison thread as I already threw it out there to Cubs fans in their section. However, it would kind of be like saying if on Castro. We already know he can play in the majors. It's only a matter of how good he will be.

He will if they can't find a way to shit can Keppinger. They also may have to move your boy Gillaspie though I hope they keep him because I think he could be a pretty good player off the bench.

Agreed. He did pretty well against RH. I'd take him off the bench or in a platoon situation.

Not really - I guess you could hold them back but neither will become arb eligible until 2016 (Eaton) and 2017 for Davidson.
