The only thing more revolting than Miller Lite is the can it comes in. This is a smooth move by Miller. They should permanently use the original can logo.

My favorite ever commercial was Lowenbrau's "Here's to good friends" jingle commercial. Simple, warm, inviting and not a care in the world type of theme. That song made me buy their beer.

Well, since their new bottle, punch top can and twist off aluminum can hasn't work, try nostalgia. Brewing a good beer is obviously secondary to the vessel at Miller.

Right. Dude craft beers and good booze are whats gaining traction right now even in a shit economy. Nostalgia plays to a couple idiots but it still doesn't change the fact that Lite sucks and everyone knows it. Why not create a nice new craft and ride the wave?

At some point in the last four or five years, beer cans started looking just like soda cans. This is a good move. There should be a difference.

Looks like Modelo's cans. Peeps aren't going to recognize it and Miller's sales will fall.

I'm as beer snobby as the next guy, but if I'm going to be drinking domestic light lager, give me this over Bud or Coors et al. And if I'm stocking up for a social gathering with heterogeneous palates, a case of Miller Lite is good to have and cheaper than say Wittekerke (another good choice for an egalitarian pour).

I don't know who that is.
