No doubt Bernsie and a lot of us coddled Rose. But that is part of his point. The time for that is over. Rose needs to be held accountable for his behavior. He had the city in his pocket. But he has wasted that.

Agreed. It was just interesting how indignant Bernstein used to be when anything negative was said about him.

The funny thing is that Rose seems to be one of the few people he actually bought the "off the court" hype about but that was probably just a way to say Jordan was a terrible human.

I guess I might not feel that way if a similar article had been written by someone else. But I've listened to bernstein talk about sports and particularly the NBA quite a bit, and his racism is always bubbling right there near the surface. He has never viewed Rose as a human being. Previosuly he was a perfect basketball machine who simply required guidance from his really smart masters. Now he is an ignoramus who has gone off the plantation, so to speak.
