I know you can't be bothered with a lot of stuff, oh insanely-intellectual-at-least-in-his-own-mind one, but at what point don't you give at least a hummingbird's beak full of attention to those who claim you post like a dismissive prick? Plenty of people he disagree with other's thoughts, but you're about the only who climbs atop Mount Pious, and looks down your nose at the lowly idiots, once someone disagrees with you.

the only one. Are you serious? That describes 90% of the board...

You should call that in to 10 Seconds of Glory so they can use that as a show bumper!

Love ya Terry, but you can't say Bears finish 2-0 Tuesday and then agree Wednesday with Dan that they could finish anywhere between 8-8 and 10-6.

Almost everything really annoying about that show is attributable to Mully. Hanley just tries to avoid all the spraying spittle.

Hanley speaking by himself is rather stumbly. I think they need each other. I'm not in the boat with the Mully haters.

It's irritating because at least if I think someone has bad thoughts and is bad at their job, at least those thoughts are their own. It's clear that Terry has no earthly idea what's going on in the world of sports or even what's being discussed on his show, but he tries to act like he does...and as example after example posted here indicate, he's not very good at it.

Whenever he's pressed for specifics he can't provide a single bit of useful information. Dan was just talking about an article in a Canadian newspaper about Ryan Freel and Terry said "Yup. Yup, I read it." But if anyone asks him something specific about the article he will not be able to answer. At this point in his career, he's a complete fraud.

Yup. Clearly you worked or do work at the Score.

No I haven't though I did date a chick years ago that temped there when they were on Belmont. Does that qualify? You appear to be extremely preoccupied with things that are not pertinent to the discussion. You lay in the bushes and speculate on whether I am Jason Goff or have worked at the score. Never have. If I did i would tell you. I'm not in the tank for them I stopped listening to their show a long time ago because it was not interesting any longer. I agree with his basic point which is what I attempted to address. It appears that it is difficult for you to argue the point but it is easier to participate in childish ad hominems about me. I am a poster at times like you are. That stuff does not bother me and by that I am referring to the Score speculation but it does appear that it is difficult for you to formulate valid arguments without reverting to some stupid theory on who I might be.

I really don't like the "Hey Dan, how are you" "<sigh> say hi to Terry" bit.

I also don't care for callers who call in and do the "Dan, I usually don't agree with you - but maaaaaaaaaaan, you were dead on with ________________" Caller just did it with the Rose piece, asking Dan if he thought it would get "national attention". Dan tried to dismiss the praise, but quickly had "27,000 page views" ready to throw out there. What's the point of that call? Just pure ball-washing? Have Dan barf out the story on-air? Bernstein likes to talk about how he's not doing his job if you like him, so why even take that call? Why not only take calls from meatballs that disagree with him on a given subject?

Bernstein's baseball thoughts have become so exasperating. He berates a caller who has the nerve to suggest it might have been smart to re-sign AJ ("his theoretical 2 wins above replacement would have meant nothing!"), and then later he says it's so refreshing to have baseball GMs who are "transparent" since you can follow what they're doing. Yeah, I love knowing ahead of time that my team will blow for the next three years.

I just read the article. Everything was fine until he attacked Rose's ability to speak. The Bulls greatest Forward,Bob Love didn't talk much either because he stuttered. It has little to do with being a good teammate or decent human being. Like most of Bernstein's articles (very similar to Mariotti),he drones on too long until he sticks his foot in his mouth. Overall, a very good column but he stepped over the line.

I'd be afraid to find out how Alshon would do without another high-end receiver ... maybe in a couple years I wouldn't ... so at present I'd say there's enough of a gap to be notably more concerned if he's alone rather than Marshall alone.

I'd say Marshall is much better at getting seperation. You don't see Jeffery wide open as much as Marshall.

This is the part that bugged me, and demonstrates Dan's class-ism (maybe racism?). Just before calling Reggie "uneducated" he says that his client/brother is worth $250,000,000 - so he must be doing something right, right? He very well may not be doing a good job managing Derrick's PR image, but I doubt that has anything to do with his lack of studying Henry David Thoreau at University. Jay Z is "uneducated" too, but he seems to be doing pretty good for himself. Someone needs to tell Danny that not all successful businessmen are "educated".
