My kids suggested the corn starch solid/liquid one.

Pour a half cup of baking soda in to a bowl. Add a full cup of water.

That creates wet baking soda.

So when i was in either 3rd 4th or 5th grade we went to Epcot and they had this sweet exhibit about growing plants in water. I decided I would do a hydroponic growth chamber for my science project. I can only imagine what the teachers thought about this looking back on it. I was too young to truly understand the wealth of knowledge gained from this project.

I think it's between what cleans a penny the best and effects of temp on friction with a hockey puck. I did one when I was little to see if my dog had a favorite dog treat she did. I'd like to do it with our dog too.
