Might as well throw Ellington in there too. Eddie Lacy is probably like the 17th best rookie RB.

McCarthy should have given him the ball on the 2pt conversion.

He leads all rookie running backs in yards and rushing touchdowns.

I was mocking dolphin. Regardless of future potential, Lacy has been the most productive rookie RB this year and it's really not close.

He's had the most attempts, the most attempts/game, he's played hurt, and he's coming off his best game of the season in Week 15. Sounds plenty durable to me.

I feel fine about the future. We are playing in a division that we are still going to win this year despite going 0-4-1 after Rodgers got hurt.

Yeah. That hasn't changed in the 6+ years I've posted here nor will it ever. I'm not Bernstein. It's perfectly acceptable for a real fan of a team to say we when talking about them.

Eddie Lacy wins NFC offensive player of the week

Posted by Darin Gantt on December 18, 2013, 10:20 AM EST

AP
Apparently, the NFL thought this week’s NFC offensive player of the week was an “easy” decision.

Eddie Lacy won the award, after the Packers rookie running back ran for 141 yards and the game-winning touchdown in their dramatic comeback over the Cowboys.

Lacy now has 1,028 yards on the season, leaving him 77 yards short of the Packers rookie rushing record.

That’s impressive stuff, even though Steelers coach Mike Tomlin said the choice to take Le’Veon Bell in the second round instead was “an easy one.”

Lacy will get a chance to make his case in person when the Steelers and Packers meet this week.

Check that off the list. ROY is between Allen (ahead right now) and him. Super Bowl MVP is next.

Now you've gone full retard. Guy is averaging 3.3 ypc with a much better passing attack to reduce stacked boxes.

Did you notice the huge drop in production between Starks and Lacey? Me neither.

I hope you were watching Le'Veon Bell

Yes, there is a reason Starks is the back up, I am sorry you can't understand the game of football. I just wish Lacy was going to play this week, but I highly doubt it.

Keeping his legs moving (but not getting any yards) was enough to draw applause from Buck and Aikman...and again Starks comes in and there is not difference

Lacy was clearly the most hobbled he has been all season and was facing a formidable run defense. He did ok.

Lacey will have a semi serious injury and will never be the same, but for 2 years he plays well. No issues

I don't expect any more than 4 or 5 years out of him, but the Packers will take what they can get. I think he has had a very good rookie year.

His ankle was jacked up. I feel bad for his ankle at 100% needing to support Fatty.

Lacy was a beast today against 49ers D.

21 carries 81 yards.

Fatty had a very good rookie year, hopefully he takes care of himself a little this offseason and builds on it next year.

yeah, he needs to do this. With his running style he only had a small window to work with.

Don't disagree with that at all, although I hope we are wrong.
