Wasn't the last coach Rod Marienlli? I mean, I suppose 3-13 is a lot more dangerous than 0-16 but still

Lovie, honestly, is probably just what they need up in Detroit.

I don't get the Marinelli hate. The Bears were a top three defense last year. There is no counter to that, no "buts" or whatever.

He's a replacement level defensive coordinator.

How they have a $100 mill QB, a $150 Mill WR and 65$ mill DT...still has me confused because the Bears have no money to sign anyone, only have like 28 players under contract and half of them dont play.

seriously how is he not gone yet? I read a quote him from yesterday in which he said he doesn't think the season was a failure. The playoffs were gift wrapped and ready for him once Rodgers went down and the Bears kicked on second down. To not make it under those circumstances is the definition of failure.

I really hope they avoid him. The talent they have on defense fits what he does.

What a pud

Quote:
DETROIT -- Several Buffalo Bills players fulfilled a summer-long wish of defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz, carrying the former Detroit Lions coach across the field Sunday after Schwartz and the Bills capped a come-from-behind win over the Lions with a late field goal.

Linebacker Ty Powell, who recalled Schwartz's words from offseason practices, joined with linebacker Randell Johnson and other Bills defenders for the postgame celebration.

"I remember back in OTAs, somehow he was talking about it in a meeting. He said, 'When we go to Detroit, and we win, I want to be carried off the field.' I remembered that in the game," Powell said. "So I turned to Randell, I said, 'Hey, we're going to carry him off the field.'"

He's a douche to the bone. He'll never get another NFL head coaching job
