Mac finally admitted he was a die in the wool Packers fan, yesterday. I wasn't shocked and I appreciated his candor and honesty, I guess I will blown up when BernSTINE finally admits that he's a stupid Cubs fan. Should be a good show today and an insufferable transition. Oh and a 'holler if you hear me' to Macs charm offensive on the board, good to hear from him.

Post thoughts here.

If you're a fan of everything, you're a fan of nothing at all. I've heard Mac profess to being a fan of the Bears, Packers, Colts, and Buccaneers. Who knows what other teams he roots for. Most likely he's rooting for whichever team he bet on that day. That's fine for a real gambler. But he isn't that either. A real gambler isn't emotional about teams. How can a guy be a Packers fan and a Bears fan? It's ridiculous.

Isn't it "dyed?" Anyway, I thought he said he wasn't a Packer fan.

Its one thing to respect an organization, as I do the Packers and Cardinals, but being a fan means picking one team.

The Bucs? Come on Mac

I think that was their Super Bowl year. He doesn't talk about the Bucs much these days. He'll probably become a Seahawks fan this season.

Hey, Stephen King is the biggest Red Sox fan in the world and he roots for the Rays too.

I think he's using the word fan when he means he respects them. That Bucs defense was awesome. And I can see liking a certain team in the playoffs if your team is out of it, but you dont carry that over

I used to always laugh at the yearly interview with him after the Red Sox blew big lead or were losing a series

How horrifying is this for Red Sox fans?

The nancy thing I find is that Mac WAS a fan, but now is not becuase of what the Bears organization did to a friend of his. WTF is that shit.

It's a business. Shitty things happen. People get fired, screwed over, whatever. Get over it.

Funny, that Holmes and Bernstine have said virtually the same exact thing. They USED to be fans, but can't anymore becuase of things they found out hanging around the locker room.

OK, short of Bears management covering up pedophiles or rapists I can't think.....hey wait a minute....maybe we're on to something.....

After a month of the Leery shit show, Mac knows he can blurt out any thought in his dopey head with no repercussions. The month of Leery will make Mac lazier than ever.

I love that Mac is back and Larry is out, but if he thinks Hawks talk will drive the show the next few months, he's high as a kite.
