i dont think wanting to be with a 15yo girl makes you a pedo... far from it. many 15yo girls have full body maturity. whats the problem for me is wanting to MARRY a 15 yo.. i dont care which one, nobody at 15 is mature enough to decide who they should be with the rest of their life. honestly, i wish the marriage laws would change from 18 to 25... but thats a whole other debate.

"full body maturity" played at my bar mitzvah.

He's had the opportunity to change his views like a lot of people have. He's made the choice to hate. Hatred stirreth up strifes but love covereth all sins.

I don't get this at all. From what I read he related his own experience long ago on a woman was better before corrupted. As for the bigotry what I read in the GQ piece was again his experience in 50-60's being dirt poor no plumbing kid along side black people in cotton fields. He said he did not witness bad treatment. He never said there was all the civil rights institutional or personal strife in the old south just didn't see it. Is it not possible (as I have seen in movies or read) that small town people from the old south got along side by side insulated from the bad real world?

Agreed. No way Walmart has all that Duck Dynasty on the shelves next Christmas. Someone/something new will come along and take it's place.

It's all about the "man" keeping them in their place. People may be happy doing shit labor and not having much of a life but that did not make it right.

You did get the part where Phil Roberston was right there with people in the cotton field in their place right? Look a little deeper. He grew up in a one room cabin no plumbing and fishing/hunting for food. Maybe I have to look a little deeper but it strikes me as he said he saw people loving, happy and god fearing as he was. I don't think many chances were there for Phil to go to the big city and see the separate water fountains.

Anyway I have stuff to do. These discussions always devolve anyway no matter how hard any side tries to understand the other.

Quite the opposite. Reality stars "fade into Bolivian", as Mike Tyson once said. That's why he is trying to say anything that will keep him in the public eye for as long as he can.

Like bigfan said, these guys (Duck Dynasty, Pawn Stars, etc.) have been trying to pitch shows like this for years. Guys like this don't want the train to stop.

There have been several details of how Hollywood is a pedophilic ring.

This guy's words aren't causing people to go out looking for 15 year olds and there is no evidence that he does it himself. They are just words with zero meaning attached.

Yeah, I'd agree with you on 98% of reality shows but this one I disagree. I think they don't care and would go back to making their videos that they used to make. Phil for sure wouldn't care. Can't know for sure with his son.

You flip through the cable channels and if you are a white trash lowlife, you have a good chance of getting a reality show. There are so many of them I lost track. From Lizard Lick Towing to Duck Dynasty to Honey boo-boo.

30 years ago these shows wouldnt be popular. back then, shows like "real life" were, because it showed people with lives that people didnt understand.

but back then, a huge majority of america was foul mouth rednecks. today, were all a bunch of subdued, docile computer nerds and we think watching a hillbilly spit stupid shit out his mouth is hilarious... so we watch duck dynasty. and worse, we think those people are intelligent

before I cut the cable, I caught it every once in a while. 1 or 2 good episodes, 1 or 2 poor episodes.

I've never watched the show. I didn't even know of its existence until about two months ago. I'm just basing it on the fact that most reality stars have a short shelf life, except for the Kardashians. I haven't heard anything about Paris Hilton or Nicole Richie in years, and I couldn't care less.

the only thing i saw them on was david letterman, and they bragged about not taking showers. i turned it off due to bordem.

i keep hearing people claim "they have master degrees! they really are smart!"..... ugh... ive known hundreds of college grads... trust me, not all of them are smart.

its just the nature of the product. the people you would WANT to watch would be people who donate to charities and volunteer for the fire department... but you wouldnt watch that because it would be boring as shit. i think you can assume with relative safety that anyone that has a reality show is a retard. sure, there are exceptions, but really, no there isnt.

Most 15 year old girls in 2014 are probably fully capable of having a kid in terms of the plumbing being fully developed. It'd be far less prevalent for that to be the case in more primitive, less well-fed times. So while we're waiting longer and longer to have kids, our bodies are becoming able to earlier and earlier.

i think i know what you mean... at least in the fact that the more educational papers one has the more they tell themselves they are superior to others.

theres a guy in my family right now like that. going to college, everyone thinks hes super smart. but he is also the same guy who drove a car for 50 miles with the parking brake on, not being able to associate the burning smell with overheated brakes... or the same guy who blows a brake line and doesnt even realize the brakes dont work anymore. "theyre soft" he says... soft? theres literally zero pressure in the pedal, and he drives it 100 miles north away from the shop it needed to be in to be fixed. thats fine, ill just fix it lying on the ground with half the tools i really need. dont worry, at least an uneducated kid wasnt driving it!!!

i dont know, i think girls have been hitting puberty around 14 for many decades now. hell, even growing up i knew 12 year olds getting periods...

they say the hormones in our foods are also accelerating puberty in girls. then, add the tv shows they watch to the mix and you can accelerate their mental development too. what doesnt change though- their emotional maturity. at 15, hell even 20, they are just little girls. they really have no clue how to deal with the real world, and to say they should be getting married at that age is just insane.

The 1950's were a long time ago but I don't know if they should be considered a primitive society. :D

20? 25, 30, 35, do they make girls older than 35?
