Thanks for the concern, guys. I am not in IL, so that makes a difference. Full coverage on the van and truck- I plow some driveways still, so keep the collision up even though the truck is old. Both teens are boys, with no points on their records. I shopped this company vs. 3 others this past Fall- was from $300/6 mo to $2500/6 mo cheaper than the other quotes

If people are interested in comparing rates, you need to mention what level of liability you carry ... if person "a" has 50/100 and person "b" is at, say, 250/500, it's not really apples-to-apples.

This is also important for those that are shopping around - make sure they're quoting you at your current numbers - even if you want to raise or lower them (here's a tip - don't go below 100/300).

i pay the bare minimum the law requires because the fact is i wont use the shit, and after 40 years of no accidents when i get that far even if i somehow do get into one it will be cheaper then paying too much for car insurance.
