It used to be that you never had to worry about a hobo having a shotgun. In those days, if a hobo ever did save up some money, he would likely spend it all on alcohol, not a shotgun. Alas, those were much simpler days.

The days of innocent fun messing with hobos is sadly over. Hypothetically, if somebody in, just as an example, Rhode Island was really drunk and got angry at a hobo because the hobo asked for some spare change, and if the drunk person got angry and decided to roll that hobo, that drunk person might end up dead because the hobo, instead of meekly accepting the beating, might actually shoot the drunk person.

Ironically, this might be a good business model for hobos because I would certainly give a dollar to a hobo if the alternative is being shot by that hobo.
