I appreciate Mac's post. No matter what you think,that Jim Morrissey story is really nasty. They cut the guy to save a few bucks? (pennies for a billion dollar organization) I hope things change for the better with George in charge now. Mac doesn't mention the most interesting part of Bears lore.

How was Mugsy Halas dying a screw job to the Halas clan? The McCaskey's run the show. I don't get that.

I doubt that would even cost the Bears anything more than it would normally owe. That's a league pension, not a Bears-specific pension. Not sure how that works but I don't think Jimmy Morrissey getting a pension would have a material financial impact to the Bears. Might be wrong.
