yeah, Obie is tre greater than Dairy Queen. For one thing, Dairy Queen ice cream seems so fake...can't explain it but it's a texture/taste thing. Obie and Coldstone are far better. But expensive.

We buy the milk in the returnable bottle. Why, sometimes on my way back from returning my empties at the grocer, I'll stop off for a game of stickball with the fellas, provided I'm just in my shirtsleeves.

my local dairy queen, that is very true. It's partly because DQ paints their entire place in white and it shows EVERYTHING. Plus you serve nothing but sticky messes on a stick. The Oberweis in St. Charles is always pretty clean though.

My first job in high school was here. We were too busy trying to wipe down the stations to get out ASAP.

Oberweis had a cleaning crew do floors and then got exposed for the company employing illegals. Then we had to mop and we didn't really give a shit. Again, wanted to get out ASAP.

Milk is great too.

The company Oberweis contracted supposedly did. Or maybe they lied to us so we'd have to mop. Whatever the true reason it was some bullshit. Mopping sucks.

hah... i worked at a building with a subway in it. the ice bin was in the back, so i saw it every day. 3 months, never cleaned once. i asked the guy working there, and he says its never cleaned... i looked at the install tag and it was a 4 year old machine.

Dairy Queen serves a soft serve reduced fat ice cream. Oberweis serves full fat ice cream. Think of it like the difference between 2% and whole milk. Then Culver's ice cream is custard and their fat content is even higher.
