Boss wanted us to stay until 5pm yesterday (normally we close at 530). We had 10 incoming calls that weren't telemarketers and only 3 people at our counter, all of these were before 1pm. I ended up leaving about 4:15 yesterday.

At work again today and not expecting much. Our COO is based out of Nashville where it was 8 degrees yesterday so he was able to get just a little taste of what we have to put up with for the better part of 2 months up here.

Well today was my test day as the cold air didn't begin to reach Pittsburgh until last night. -10 this morning at my house. Was cold but I was fine. Car hardly began to give good heat by the time I reached the park and ride. Hardest part was short walk from bus stop to lab. Been a long time since I felt air that cold on my face. Supposed to only last a day here and 40 by weekend. That will probably have people in shorts.
