Aside from Beck and Nas, you've got me fooled if there's anything on there that I've ever heard of or likely has any talent to speak of. Ammend that ... I've never heard Skrillex but he's probably on to something with whatever he does, excepting that idiot haircut.

I would sugget Outkast, Jon Spencer and if youre in a real pinch, Muse

That "hey ya" thing was suicide inducing .... I'll have to check the other two out .... a cursory skim gives me slightly more hope on Jon Spencer.

Jon Spencer BX is one of my favorite bands of all time. Of all time.

So there's that.

In addition, Muse blows.

I will endeavor to not hold that against him.

Since you're probably as good a candidate as any to ask, off the top of your head, would you be so kind as to nominate three songs not entirely different but somewhat contrastable, and then note which is your favorite?

I don't think it's terrible. The smaller print bands are more worth the price than the large print.

Much like Lolla, how many times do we need bands like Arcade fire, Beck, QOTSA, and Muse headlining these big festivals? Look past them and see who is there.

There is some crap in there too: Beady eye, 1975...actually the more I look at it, that Sunday lineup is hurting. yikes.

Did you like Oasis?

Not really.

 :salut:

I can attest to this. Matt Bellamy stepped off the tour bus in front of Metro and blew a huge hit of hydro right in my face.

I agree, 'orange' is the best album. Bell bottoms and full grown woman are good places to start.
'Meat and bone' is a great album as well, and is much more recent.

I got no beef with Jon Spencer Blues Explosion but they're no Royal Trux or Pussy Galore.

Royal Trux out-Stones the Stones. And the Burnside record with the Spencer band is awesome.

Since we're playing six degrees of Jon Spencer  - check out this album if you get a chance, it's pretty good. "Butter 08" was made up of Russell Simins from JSBX, the gals from Cibo Matto (later from Gorillaz) and Mike Mills.

Hey Ya is not at all representative of them.

It would be like judging Phish off Heavy Things or Michael Jackson off Wuz Up Wit You

Hell hey ya almost made ME puke

I love when old people complain about lineups of music festivals they would never have any intention of going to.
