 Then he added to it by saying "well sure you may give them a TD, but you may also hold them to a FG."

Hey Dan, giving them 2 pts is better than giving them 3 pts

If you have Andrew Luck, how do you not run one rollout during the goal line series? I hate the fade on 3rd down.

Once Luck gets more consistent, he is going to dominate.

6 INTs in the last 2 weeks. Not time to put him with the top QBs just yet.

Can we stop the Cutler isn't Andrew Luck now?

I agree he was crazy. At first. And he kept repeating it and repeating it and.........

But then after the break he changed to "well sure you may give them a TD, but you may also hold them to a FG."
This may not be bad logic. Holding to a FG is better than giving them 2 points and the ball.

Isn't it?

Yeah that isn't as bad. But you from the 2 yd line you have a real low percentage of holding them to a FG. I still think the smart play is to take the safety.

You got this Carolina. For the love of God, raze the NFC West and their shithead coaches, fuckstick fans and asshole players. Everything that encompasses the 49ers and Hawks has the stink of biggest collection of insufferable douchebaggery in recent memory.

Carroll, Jimmy tuck my sweatshirt in my pants, Tate and Harvin are all asses but the rest of those 2 teams are some damn good football players. Cam Newton might be a bigger douche than all of them though. Both those other teams are TEAMS top to bottom. Its not always clear whether Cam is playing for Cam or the Panthers.

I think that even though Seattle can be irritating I want to see them win it all now. Watching their defensive backs play is just glorious. I think everyone here can appreciate the play of Chancellor and Thomas after watching either Conte/Wright or Burnett/Jennings set both safety positions back 20 years this season.

If Seattle wins the SB will that be vindication of the Lovie Smith philosophy? They don't have an explosive offense but they run the ball well and play great defense. Russell Wilson makes plays but I believe he is extremely overrated.

I remember that. It hasn't made a difference because Forte has been great but IIRC you were suggesting they use a 7th round pick on him.

Maybe, but I don't think Seattle wins. They rely on home field to succeed. They're very mediocre on the road.

Yeah I kind of want Seattle to lose so everyone can become a bit more realistic about that team's QB, and its chances away from home (if they make the super bowl). I think the Panthers get blown out in this one. It's before their time.

Wow, looks like NFL has given the referees specific orders for next weeks matchup.

Also anytime Crabtree wants to shut the fuck would be nice. He's worse than Weems.

Where is the flag for Boldin's head butt?

I already thought the officiating was bad in this game - the Boldin play just clinched it. There is absolutely no excuse for what is going on in this game.

Am not convinced Newton is any kind of leader of his team. Seems to be sulky way too much. I love watching Vernon Davis play football.
