Really? I thought an onside would have been prudent. All he had to do was get a couple first downs.

I'm not gonna bother looking it up on my phone but I'm pretty certain the odds of getting an onside were significantly lower than getting a stop and getting it back.

You're probably right, since a field goal would have ended the game. If it were a three point game an onside might be right.

I do like these matchups. However, the two matchups both feature similar teams. Great games are made by differing styles.
