This hypocracy from him has bugged me for some time and I was reminded of it this morning.

Today, Dan is still at it about Penn State (and for the record, rightfully so)

ESPN reporter @ScottBrown_ESPN melts down on Twitter, outs himself as one of the Paterno psychos. Click on "Storify." http://bit.ly/19q4wQ4

I know he isn't a sports figure so it likely wouldn't be a subject of conversation, but he still talks fondly about Woody Allen movies. I haven't seen him re-tweet these:

Quote:
mia farrow ‏@MiaFarrow 8h

A woman has publicly detailed Woody Allen's molestation of her at age 7. GoldenGlobe tribute showed contempt for her & all abuse survivors

Quote:
Ronan Farrow ‏@RonanFarrow 19h

Missed the Woody Allen tribute - did they put the part where a woman publicly confirmed he molested her at age 7 before or after Annie Hall?

Shouldn't bug me, but it does. IF. YOU. ENJOY. WOODY. ALLEN. MOVIES. YOU. SUPPORT. CHILD. RAPE.

The whole marrying the 17 or 18 year old adopted step daughter or whatever might be an issue.

Yup, can throw Woody Allen into the Kids in the Hall and Monty Python bin as well.

To be fair to Woody, the nanny recanted her testimony. She said Mia Farrow "coached" her. So who knows what is true. Having said that, marrying your adopted step-daughter is all-time creepy.

Manhattan's a great a movie. Without Feathers and Getting Even are fun bathroom reads.

A distinction you might be able to make between Woody and Jerry: Allen's something of an artist and you don't need to either like or even know Allen to enjoy/appreciate his work. Some compare films/books/songs to children--should you hold the sins of their fathers/creators against the children.

In Allen's case, it's a bit dicier as he injects so much of himself into his films.

I'm guessing he means the "not funny" bin.

Well shit. I think Monty Python and Kids in the Hall are hilarious.
I also thought my drunk dialing this weekend was hilarious. I'm guessing it wasn't well received.

I don't know about any nanny. The victim certainly hasn't and now says she wishes she stood up for herself and pursued the matter further.

I'm sure many Penn State backers enjoyed/appreciated Jerry's defensive schemes.

The Woodbots just don't get it. They're so cloistered in that sick little village called New York City. They should nuke the whole place.

I used to watch Monty Python as a yute...then one day I realized that I would seldom laugh while watching the show. Never watched it again.

Corey Feldman has detailed how the movie and tv industries are dominated by pedophiles. No one is stepping out against him lest they have the finger pointed at them.

They also all support the child molester and ass rapist, Roman Polanski. If you like movies you're just as guilty of child rape as the rapist. Make Bill O'Brien the head of Paramount. He gets it.

Are the previous considered "High Quality"?

Silence of the Lambs, The Godfather, Braveheart, etc etc this is what I will consider "High Quality"

if I wanted to watch a nebish little jewish guy complain I would get a booth at Myron and Phils for 3 hours!

or if I wanted to watch some guys talk to other guys dressed as girls talking like girls, I would ask for Booth #1 at the Kit Kat Lounge

I've seen about 5 total minutes of Woody Allen movies and I can tell you that they are terrible and overrated.

It was a take on Curious Hair's thoughts on "A Christmas Story".
