At Ford City they would wait until after the movie and shoot the person in the parking lot.

Well....."they" are prone to violence, amirite?

The reasons for not going to a theater keep piling up for me.

Not a movie theater but in Vegas for labor day went to see Cirque Soleil. Guy and girl in front talked, made out and guy had a cell phone conversation all during the show. Never once paid attention.

Frustrating.

Ive only been in a movie once where the talking near us was so bad we had to move seats. My wife does constantly complain about seeing the light of Cell phones from people near us checking their phones. I seem to be able to zone that out.

they should hand out blinders as you enter the theater.

It was the one at TI. So lower $ on the Cirque scale so free ticket very likely. Guy wore a fedora so explained everything.

Absolutely. I wonder if the wife will sue the theater if an employee actually was given the complaint and basically told the guy with the gun to deal with it himself. If I'm the victim's wife, I would be upset that the theater apparently refused to address the issue (even though, ironically, it was her husband who was causing the complaint).

I think you're onto a much larger topic with that.

I would be surprised if many people seriously do not think this guy should go to prison for shooting someone in a theater.

Could have been a picture. And Three year olds can definitely recognize some words in print.

Seriously, I know the guy was annoying, but not that 3 year old doesnt have a father for the rest of her fucking life.

Fuck the shooter. Kill him.

Of course we can't have people going around shooting each other over stupid ass shit like that. The guy is going to be punished. I'm just saying I don't feel too bad about it. I suspect that if the scene of the shooting had been in a movie, we might be cheering the shooter. That little girl would still have a father if her father hadn't been so comfortable being an ignorant cocksucker. The very basis of a "society" is respect for others. Anyone who has attended a movie in recent years knows that it's sorely lacking. It's what my old granddad used to call, "Hooray for me, the hell with you."

Yeah, pretty sure you and I have been guilty of Hooray for me the hell with you. Thankfully were alive to post about it.

Yeah, the guy being borderline annoying (watch the fucking screen, and dont worry about my cell phone light which is barely noticeable)

Now he's dead.

I just hate this story and people's reaction to it.

Id be right there with you if he had just punched the guy or attacked him. THAT would be funny.

During an interview with Reeves with his arrest, and after the former cop was read his Miranda rights, Reeves admitted to firing his weapon at the victim because "he was in fear of being attacked," according to the police report.
Reeves told police that Oulson had hit him with what the police report describes as an "unknown object."

I wonder if diners forking over $500 for a dinner at Alinea had similar ideas about this couple:

Didn't have to. He's a former cop. When he walks, and you best believe he will, let me know how many of the race hustlers from the Trayvon Martin shooting show up for this case.
