I dont see him as the centerpiece of a winning team, but for now I guess he'll have to do.

Needs to take a big step forward this year

Anything less than 30 and 100 will be a failure to me.

Yeah, he was at 23/80 last year. Although, the RBI thing is not totally on him.

Definitely needs to raise his ba though

A WAR of 2.6 is unacceptable. Don't even ask about Starlin's -.6

John Olerud with slightly more power.

I'm hoping for more...but Olerud isn't bad.

In a second. Just because Dunn got old and bad for the Sox doesnt mean he was a bad player.

Yes it is totally on him as he had a horrible average with RISP

Hes not going to get that, hes just not real good. I never liked this move and have no faith in him.
I dont understand how you homers think RIZzo and SAmardiza are the future.

You think 30/100 is unreachable?

I definitely think could both be a big part of the future, but I'm not expecting either to be the best players on the team.

I Dont think he will ever be a 30-100 guy...it is too easy to find a 30-100@ that position to replace him. Im not a fan. SAme as the shark, hes a number 3-4 starter at best..to easy to replace, hope Im wrong. I wrong about Wood...he looks like he could be a great number 2. the future is solar n baez and bryant, if they produce big makes or breaks this rebuild.

I dont care if he turns out to be a good 5 hitter, part of a very good team.

Would like to see him in a lineup of Major leaguers as well! This is why I hate trading all these guys this year that get us marginal talent.

At some point and with specific players, having them on the roster is a GREAT thing.

While I dislike the Dejesus wife thing, 'gold digger....cough" he is a really good player for not a ton of money to have for this team. $9M for 2 years, Rays...I guess cant match it now, but I think that type of player is needed now.

I watched The Amazing Race with his wife. She is stunning. She spent every chance she could get projecting the story of how she misses her kids and hates leaving her family. I read the Sun Times yesterday and she's working on projects in LA while De Jesus is in Chicago this off season.

Getz' wife was nearly as hot, is an accountant and seems to have much more substance.

Short thread, but a lot of great material.

Some of those threads and titles from a couple years ago are painful to read.

I believe he should be MVP over Bryant.

Cmon 312? You weren't a fan of Baez or Rizzo?

With Bryant's nosedive lately it's become a much tighter race.

Yes, and it seems as though Rizzo is much more of a clubhouse leader (subjective, I know).
