Of course it should. Phone screens give off a ton of light and these idiots are normally so stupid that they move it around being even more distracting.

I get the previews are probably acceptable to use it but there is no defending the use of the phone during the movie. Stay home if you care that much.

It is bothersome. I shouldn't have to deal with some asshole fucking with his phone during a movie. The light is distracting.

I'm sure everyone here has been in a situation where some bigger or younger or seemingly stronger person was acting like an asswipe. You may have been too intimidated to ask them to stop. And if you did ask them to stop maybe they laughed at you and said, "What are you gonna do about it?" Now, most of us aren't going to shoot those people. But I'm not really sorry when they get shot.

I have never been bothered by a cell phone light.

So, now with that info, you can see why I maintain the position.

Maybe I'm experiencing a disconnect here because as I've mentioned before, I am the owner of a Motorola Razr, shown here,



and the screen doesn't really give off that much light. I could see where an iPhone is practically a flashlight.

i went to the movies a couple weeks ago, and down the row from me, maybe 6 or 7 seats away, a teenaged girl texted intermittently throughout the movie and every time she did the light from her phone distracted me. i considered starting an argument that would crescendo into shooting her dead in front of her boyfriend, but decided to simply watch the movie and not make a big fuss over it.

i would disagree with those who say that it is not distracting, but i can't imagine being so distracted by it that i would go nuts and actually start an argument or even say anything. now if the girl was RIGHT next to me or very close it might be another story, that could be a problem, that bitch might have to die.

Nothing really bothers me in a theater unless my view or hearing the movie is disturbed.

Just me though.

If everybody that walked into a movie theater was shot there would be no one here to complain about this, problem solved.

Those guys weren't near anyone and weren't bothering anyone at all. Security hassled them because that's what they do. If they had been blowing smoke in your face, I would agree with you and support you having Darkside shoot them on your behalf.
