The shooting happened outside. So now we need to know who followed whom.

People who argue against concealed carry site it will become the Wild West. Well back in the wildest days of Dodge and Tombstone the average murder rate was one every six months. You know why Cuz everybody was packing and if you started fucking with someone and they shot you the law was on your side,so therefore people where nicer to each other and more courteous.

Can you please provide where you saw this, as I have seen nothing about the shooting happening outside.

From the article that quotes cops and witnesses.

They argued several times, according to police and witnesses, and the man who was texting watched as the other man walked out of the theater. Curtis Reeves, a retired police officer, apparently went seeking a theater employee to complain about the texting, police said.

The guy didn't need to involve himself in a confrontation. he could have walked away.

HE DIDN"T DESERVE TO BE SHOT THOUGH!!

Right. But according to your logic he should have at least accepted that as a possibility.

So your solution after all this is to engage in the same behavior you claim to loathe?

Brilliant.

I would have been in favor of killing Hitler, too.

Killing murderers is not the same as killing regular people.

The old man could have also done any number of these things. He also could have left his gun at home or in it's holster.

Once again. We agree Francis.

Being a former cop, Reeves was unlikely to do that.

Not so.

He had the choice to avoid any type of confrontation.

No confrontation, no argument, and therefore no shooting. He could have been the "bigger man"so to speak. It appears that his wife's intervention was unable to impress that fact upon him.

This deal gets sadder and sadder.

I re-posted because I chose to believe that you missed it in my original response to what Hank posted.

I know how important it is to you to come across as intelligent and above it all and i didn't want your carefully crafted persona to take a hit like that.

Once again we agree.

I think it's a pretty shitty way to live your life when you choose to make petty arguments about simple requests that you can so easily accept.

You're probably more likely to be shot if you live your life with complete disregard for your fellow humans.

Ah, so clearly the texter was looking for a confrontation ... I mean, clearly he wanted a piece of the guy as he just stayed in his seat and watched the guy leave.

It's not what was ever said by me here. Now you are starting to look stupid. If you can't keep up in a thread that you earlier claimed was stupid, then now would be a good time to bow out.

The opinion of others is of great concern to you. That is the burden that you carry.

That's because he is wrong most of the time. It would be eye catching, if he actually got something correct.

Reasonable expectations. I don't think it it's reasonable for anyone to expect that the end consequence of being an asshole in a movie theater is a bullet in the gut.

Maybe it is now. And I wouldn't say that's such a bad thing, would you? Or do you think it's every man's inalienable right to act like a douchebag without consequence?

Must be.

Two men and no ability or want to settle things peacefully.

Oh, and now it appears that the bullet hit his wife first before killing him.

So now she has to live with the fact that in trying to stop her husband from arguing with an idiot, she deflected the bullet causing a fatal wound.
