Does anyone else remember a segment called "Florida or Germany"? I think maybe Dahl and Meier did it, but it could have been B&b or someone else. Anyway, they would read some weird story (Example: A guy running a meth lab in a golf course port-a-john) and a caller had to choose whether it occurred in Florida or Germany.

That sounds like Dahl and Meier.

So it wasn't even jarring to you in the least that in 2013 people were calling for segregated proms? I wasn't surprised that racists exist, I was surprised it was still that much out in the open.

Ah, so this guy and victims of racism aren't truly innocent? Is that what you mean?

I've posted my outrage in school shooting threads. I don't know what you're talking about. You've gone off here in the name of attacking me (with the help of anonymous others)

Your post referencing his race was the first post in the thread. There was no board reaction to it. Nor was it mentioned in the story you used. That's race trolling. If the truth offends your sensibilities, I'm sorry.

I'm not the only one in this thread that called you out for the Zimmerman reference. You keep trying to ignore that fact.

Posting in a thread is far different then starting one. You know that.

There is a large world outside of where we live. No, I'm not surprised that racist proms still exist. And i believe that you are too intelligent to believe that also.

Is it the caffeine itself making you a bad driver, or is it the fatigue that you think the caffeine is addressing more than it actually is?

I never drink coffee to combat fatigue. I rarely drink it at all. For me personally, drinking a cup of coffee makes me feel jittery and distracted. I don't know the science behind it. I can drink Coke by the gallon without feeling that way.

Also, back to the "homicidal maniac", I would say the stark difference between this case and Zimmerman/Martin is that in this case the victim was illustrating what's wrong with America and in the Zimmerman case the shooter was doing so.

Pretty sure the movie theater is a perfect example of what is wrong with America from both the victim AND the shooter. Mr. Texter probably deserves a punch in the mouth, but definitely not a bullet to the chest.

The reaction was on the Facebook Gawker story. Several comments wondering if the old man was mentally disturbed or scarred from being a cop. "Poor old guy" was employed.

As you state, there is a world outside this board

Absolutely false, I addressed it twice.

No, I was and am legitimately surprised thst kind of open unapologetic racism still exists.

I guess you are more aware of southern racism than I am.

There are other things like MAOIs and Paraxanthines in coffee or you might have an allergy/intolerance.

Fuck this guy. He deserves to be executed today. I don't care if he was an ex cop, he's a murdering piece of shit. Hell awaits this bastard, (if it exists, which it may not).

Didn't have to. He's a former cop. When he walks, and you best believe he will, let me know how many of the race hustlers from the Trayvon Martin shooting show up for this case.

Itd be nice to put George Zimmerman, this guy, and A Lion in a cage

So your solution after all this is to engage in the same behavior you claim to loathe?

Brilliant.

RPB,

Let's start with your first post. You tried to bring race into the conversation immediately. And btw, I think you are an aspiring rapper? If so, I find it hard to believe that you wouldn't know that the phrase "old white cop" has a far different connotation in an urban setting versus Tinley Park for instance.

On page 3, you introduce Zimmerman. No one responds.

Seven pages later, you do it again.

And someone finally responds to the racial angle you introduced needlessly in your first post. And then you just keep bringing it up until you finally state that you wish to engage in the same behavior that Zimmerman did.

And then Nas calls you out for trying to tie it to Zimmerman.

I think it's obvious that you are race trolling.

No, I am not now, nor have I ever been an aspiring rapper

And I dont think old white cop means different things. It means a cop who is old and white.

Its needless in your opinion. My opinion is that the old guy being white and a retired cop affects people's reactions. I dont know how anyone could argue with this.

I explained the Zimmerman comparison twice. Not sure what you dont understand.

I responded to Nas. You're certainly entitled to your opinion as to my motives.

BTW, Im white, in case you're confusing me with someone else. I think you know that, but ya never know. RFDC didnt for a long time.

I'm aware that you are white.

The cops race is still irrelevant in the movie shooting.

I find it hard to believe that you don't understand that the term "old white cop" means different things to a suburban white kid, versus an inner city African American kid. Are you unaware of what went on in Chicago where African American males were systematically profiled by "old white cops"? Did you somehow live through the 90's and miss the OJ case?

You're just restating your opinion now. The race of the shooter affects people's reaction. That's a fact. To deny it, is to be naive.

Old White cops are old white cops, Crest. People's perceptions of what that means may differ, that doesn't change anything. You're reaching.

Think whatever you want about my motivations. We see this situation very differently and this is getting old. Its Friday and Im in a good mood. Id rather discuss something a little lighter than homicidal lunatics.

Liner notes must include a skit with something along the lines of "...feat. Goggles."

That would actually be quite a gimmick. A rapper who does not use any abbreviations, contractions, or nicknames.

Saw "Lone Survivor". I know, I just gave the ending away.

Sad for a number of reasons.

If our government is going to be dumb enough to get into war, the least they can do is provide soldiers the means to defend themselves at all times.
