Then Illinois will beat Mich St or some top 10 ranked team and that will be the calling card for them to get into the tourney and they had a winning record in the Big 10, blah blah,,then somehow they will get in as a 9 seed! and lose, only to then tell me about all the recruits they have on the radar. Basically, this is the last 10 years of Illini hoop.

I see it shaking out the way bigfan described above. They'll beat somebody good. I think they can get to 20. This team is better than I expected. I just hope the freshmen can keep developing during the conference season.

Ahmad Starks, Darius Paul, and Aaron Cosby should be big contributors next season. They were all good players before they transferred to Illinois.

I love when Purdue and Illinois play each other.

Horrible. They are really quite bad. You can't miss 5 of 6 FT down the stretch of a close game.

Egwu is a real disappointment. Illinois' only hope this year was that he'd take the next step and be a presence, a first or second offensive option, and he's just invisible on that end.

Rick - enjoy Aj Hammons this year - I just don't see a reason for him to come back for his junior year.

If plays like that he is gone, but there will be question marks on him. He disappears in games.

Hopefully the deep draft scares him back for another year. If not, the pipeline continues.

He's 7'0" 250 with a long wingspan. I am guessing someone will make him rich. he should have left last year.

He would have been a second round pick last year. Right now, he'd probably be a late first round pick. He will move up a lot with good performances against Michigan State and IU.
