Like I've always said, "Wang-Whipper" is Bernstein's code word for "N****r". He just doesn't like to be like the rest of white America and use "Thug".

Hub also initially wanted to use the word "criminals" too and doubled down on this by saying he was referring exclusively to their off the field conduct and not their style of play when confronted on this. And poor Dan has had to revert to the "well I liked it but different strokes for different folks" position.

Also Hub is seriously dumb if he thinks that apology was legit or indicative of contrition. He refers to Crabtree as "an individual" for heaven's sake.

Well, at least we learned Hub is a racist.

And it wasn't just because he used the word thug but also because he denied being a racist, which as Dan taught us today is the best confirmation that one is a racist.

This is not the first time I've heard Dan with this "Thug" proclamation. He's actually not the first to say it. I've heard it before from others. In fact, Bernstein probably took it from somebody else and uses it to hide the fact that he's racist.

I forget of whom he was speaking about, but Dan once called a black athlete a "thug". Maybe within the last few years. It stuck out to me cuz I knew that the "Thug" thing was Dan's race-baiting stance.

Are some people actually arguing that "thug" cannot be used as a code word for the n bomb? Not agreeing that it always is, but it can be. I cringed a bit when I heard Hub say it (though I missed Bernstein's apparent diatribe.) I always find it funny when people get upset when called out on it.

For the record, I never heard the President of the US be described as a "thug" until our current one was elected. Always found that a bit odd..

I am quite sure that Dan and I are on the same political spectrum (yes, people from Rockford are not all uneducated hicks). Dan's major problem is his absolutism, he would have been better off suggesting that some attacks against Sherman are racially motivated and isn't that sad it is still occurring today blah blah blah.
