It can be effective but only if given within the proper time frame. Meaning, if you get the flu and wait a week or so before going in to get the treatment it probably won't do much.

My wife says it does, I've never used it.
I'm a Zicam person as soon as I start feeling sick. Tastes awful but I'd rather use that than the Cold-eze lozenges. They leave this metallic taste in my mouth I don't like.
