Climate Scientists “turn a 90 year cooling trend into a warming trend"
Written by John O'Sullivan
http://www.principia-scientific.org/breaking-new-climate-data-rigging-scandal-rocks-us-government.html

A newly-uncovered and monumental calculating error in official US government climate data shows beyond doubt that climate scientists unjustifiably added on a whopping one degree of phantom warming to the official "raw" temperature record. Skeptics believe the discovery may trigger the biggest of all “climate con” scandals in Congress and sound the death knell on American climate policy.

Independent data analyst, Steven Goddard, today (January 19, 2014) released his telling study of the officially adjusted and “homogenized” US temperature records relied upon by NASA, NOAA, USHCN and scientists around the world to “prove” our climate has been warming dangerously.

Goddard reports, “I spent the evening comparing graphs…and hit the NOAA motherlode.” His diligent research exposed the real reason why there is a startling disparity between the “raw” thermometer readings, as reported by measuring stations, and the “adjusted” temperatures, those that appear in official charts and government reports. In effect, the adjustments to the “raw” thermometer measurements made by the climate scientists “turns a 90 year cooling trend into a warming trend,” says the astonished Goddard.

SUCK A FAT DICK, MISTA BELIEVEDERE!

Take a look at his website. He is no independent.

Surely, you can do better than that, Q.

There isn't one. So many things change so frequently. We aren't talking about minor changes either. It makes it difficult to use science when debating something.

We pretty much are, when we're talking about things we really think we know for sure.

Yeah but don't worry we have figured out the worlds climate in the last 18 years. Al Gore and 98% of scientists agree. 8)

I just found this thread and only read the first page. Probably not gonna bother with the rest.

I'm sorry leash but I found your evident frustration on the first page pretty amusing, although I also understand and agree with where it comes from.

Well, sure, it makes sense that doubling the concentration of a greenhouse gas wouldn't have much effect on the global climate. Of course, your 18 years is bullshit too. The increasing concentration of CO2 has been a major concern for well over 30 years.

Some plants, anyways. I know from, er... I read somewhere that marijuana, particularly, benefits from excessive CO2 levels.

Now if everyone grew... plants... we could convert that nasty co2 into o2.
Imagine. It's not hard if you try.

I've tried. Not as easy as claimed. 8)

I am not going to re argue that what man does is bad. My point that in the scheme of a billion years or so it is incredibly arrogant to think that the recent movement (and making people rich) will save or destroy the planet.

I would too, but that's not what's happening. There's real science there. Could it be wrong? Sure. But there's no convincing reason to thing that: only wishful thinking.

But if he has a sinus infection, he's not going to take any drugs because he doesn't believe "the information you are given is reliable."

Well it's not like doctors don't just prescribe stuff for monetary reasons. I lived that for 5 years. It didn't help my cynical view of them.
