I never understood the point of them, at least in the majority of the cases. Im basically talking about threads on here with the show/movie's title as the thread title, or in articles written specifically about said show/movie. If you don't want to be "spoiled", then it's pretty much your own fucking fault for clicking on the thread/article in the first place. It's crazy to me that people have the audacity to get mad at people discussing what happened in a show that just aired, when they themselves were the morons that clicked on the thread to begin with. Reinforces my opinion that people just want to bitch for no reason in particular.

that's very true RPB but i think there should be something in the title like 'Discussion' that can at least alert people that there will be spoilers. If it's just a 'review' or something, you can talk about something without giving a lot away...movies at least.

i try to not spoil too much when i write anything about a recent movie here. but there is that 5 year rule.

5 year rule my ass. I give it 365 days since the release of the movie, then I feel free to talk about it openly.
