Have been watching the dustup with Sam Adams and Lagunitas going on - was at Anyway's last night and they had the Rebel IPA on tap. I gave it a try and I was surprised. It's not as bitey as other West Coast IPA's like Green Flash, but it's pretty good. It certainly will be approachable enough for some folks to enjoy their first west coast IPA. Anyone else had it?

I had it at a Buffalo Wild Wings last week. I also thought it was pretty good but if I was at a store I'd go another direction.

I'd have it again at BWW since their on tap selections are kind of limited.

I had this on draft a couple years ago and was ecstatic to learn they were bottling it soon. I found two bottles at Binny's today. Anyone else had it?

Same situation for me - like you said, I wouldn't buy it for my consumption at home, but could see throwing a 12 pack in a cooler at a party at the house or getting it where selection is limited.

It's much better than Ranger IPA.

Is there a black market for all of you Binny's/craft brew guys.

Cause I pass two Binny's a day and if I can supplement my income, let me know what it's worth to you all.

Not worth much to me since I can go daily to my local and see what's new.

Thanks hawkeye.

I'm trying to be a good B&B drone by monetizing everything. Including my son's school commute.

I bought the new Pipeworks whatever Ninja today, then immediately had buyer's remorse. Stuff better be damn good, or it's going to join my One and Done Pipeworks Club.

I picked up the New Belgium 6 bomber pack with Rampant, Aramis and Rewind. I've had the Rampant, but looking forward to trying the other 2.

Schaumburg kept it in the back, so you had to ask for it. There was this hot ass girl buying it at the same time I was. of course, she had to immediately say she was there buying it for her boyfriend when I asked her if she was a PW fan.

You were right. It's been more than 6 days.

But I picked up 12 Hop Slams after work and picking up 12 more on Tuesday.
It's tough being so short sighted when it comes to beer. Whatever that means.

How much are you finding it for? I can still get it but at the 25-30 a 6 pack range.

Also heard a rumor about another shipment coming in next week.

$19.99/6

The shipments in my area (SW burbs) came in yesterday and will be in again on Tuesday and next Friday.

Bolingbrook released Hopslam at 6:00 PM yesterday, with a one six pack limit. I follow their beer guy on twitter, and he said that they had six cases remaining. I showed up at 9:00 AM, and walked out with two six packs, and I didn't have to wait in line. 8)

Nobody should ever wait in line for HopSlam. There is no point in doing it.

It's been 14 days.

I stopped and picked up another 6 pack of HopSlam today.
Got home and found out my wife stopped and got a 6-er for me also.

Should I keep letting you know?

I might try and get one more 6 pack at one of the same places in the next couple of days.

I've gotten it at 3 different places (so to speak).
$19.99 at every place.
Some are limit 2, some 1.

That's too rich for me. Tastes like beer brewed with butter.

That was my wife's comment as I was pouring it. "Really? That looks like cough syrup!" It does not taste like cough syrup.
