anyway, you know what...actually, i won't say it "sucked" but the most disappointing film i've ever seen from spielberg is "lincoln". it's so sophomoric, pandering and patronizing bordering on obsequious that i really resented the way he depicted that whole story. there was a better way of doing that, and a better way of honoring the beginning of the civil rights movement.

Spielberg is the Bernsie of directors. He decided he needed to make REALLY.IMPORTANT.MOVIES.

Totally agree. It COULD have been cool and fun and stuff, even with Shia....but they tossed it into the nostalgia drenched crap hole.

Exactly. That's the disappointment. Never will look at a movie by these idiots the same again. When you see some of the goofball ideas they had... for example, evil crazy nazi Toht was supposed to have a laser eye and a bionic arm. Thank god they didn't do that because that would have ruined Raiders. It was great he was just a bald, sadistic nazi fuck.
