This event sucks.

1. too loud
2. smells like exhaust
3. it's just trucks driving in circles

I was a sucker for going to this once. Terrible terrible terrible.

Mothers,
Please do not take your children to this. It is too loud for them and will permanently damage their hearing. The exhaust fumes in an indoor stadium also will cause major issues. A friend of mine said her kid was coughing for two weeks after going to a show. If you love your children, you will not take them to Monster Jam.

What We Do
Miles Of Marketing employs stay-at-home and work-at-home moms from across the country to market to the same demographic.

Our network of "Suburban M.O.M. Street Teams" interact with other moms daily, getting together at playgroups, schools and bookclubs. They socialize online with other moms on social networks, blogs and on mommy forums. They also drive 20-35 miles a day while running errands and going to the mall or the gym.

Edit: Where the hell are they going to be driving 20-35 miles a day? That's exurb level driving.

Pussification of America.

This wouldn't happen if we got kids smoking early like in the old days.

Went last time and my kid absolutely loved it. He wore ear protection and there weren't many fumes at all (the entrance is completely open to the outside).

We're going again, highly recommend it if your kids are in to trucks, etc. For some shows you can go early and get pictures with the trucks down on the track. He loved that too.

And to me, it wasn't that loud at all. I didn't wear anything on my ears and it wasn't anywhere near the level of a concert.

I don't think I would go if I were paid to go to one of these things.

I went to a WWF show once at Alstate. There was a 40 year old man dressed in facepaint screaming "GOOD NIGHT!" at the top of his lungs every time one of these mopes body slammed or whatever you call it another man. It was so gay. It was actually too gay for me.
Do you know how gay that has to be?

I don't need to go to Monster Jam. I live in Will County and see it everyday.

I'm frightened to think of what your version of "Mr. Socko" would be ... probably yellow enough to be on The Simpsons for one thing.

I went to Monster Jam one time, without a child because I'm not a monster, and the best part was looking at the other people in the stadium.
