you know, funny story.... but back in the early-mid 00s i ran into someone who claimed that they knew someone who was involved with parliament's tour team whenever they played in chicago, and it was their responsibility to head on down to the ghetto and get ~20-30 rocks for the band when they were in town.

evidently parliament has a lot of member changes during their shows so the picture that was painted for me was that when some of 'em get behind the curtain or whatever they're reachin for the pipe and blazing up before they get back out there.

I can't think of any Chicago-area sports writer that is more of a joyless and burdensome read than Haugh. Hard to imagine any reason to the thought process behind the Tribune making him their #1. The workplace atmosphere over there must really be discouraging and sad for the other writers.

Crawford is not earning his paycheck. Don't let a game or two fool you. He is 33rd in the NHL in save percentage and with a pretty good team in front of him. I'd be ok if you said he is a good goalie, even though I think he is average at best. But to be earning that big contract, you have to be much better than 33rd in the league.

Yeah he's tied for 18th. .918 is nothin to sneeze at Denny . They don't need an elite goalie just a good one and Crawford is that. While his salary is a bit high it's not crazy out of line . Raanta isn't ready yet anyway. I don't think Crawfords deal will keep them hamstrung with not being able to make other moves . He can play a bit better sure but overall he's pretty good.
