Mac was talking about the comments sections underneath articles posted online. Bernstein said he doesn't read those on principle, that they're representative of the lowest common denominator and a cesspool. He added that's why the comments section was turned off for his articles on the CBS site. He did not mention the CSFMB.

I suspect they were turned off because he doesn't like it when people post legitimate criticisms of his articles because he can't shout them down and treat them the way he treats callers.
