The entire segment already sucked. It's the worst segment on sports radio in Chicago that I've heard.

I know some people like it, but the whole idea is terrible IMO. And the inspiration for it, Ditka with Boers, wasnt even a true WYC

It used to be good and still is on occasion. I seem to remember a pretty good one a few weeks ago.

Not everything has to be "the essence" to still be entertaining. Just be funny/interesting. Too often, though, you get a whole segment that are guys trying to be intelligent/smarmy.

Here's a tip for you young crappers out there - if your crap ends with "I have 2 questions for you...", rip it up and start over.

In fact, don't write the damn thing out to begin with as it tends to lead to far too many obscure cultural references. Just spit some fire.

I agree with this. They are always from the sycophants and are are so long winded. They warn the callers to be brief and get to the point, but Danny will read a five minute long email.

WYC used to be great. when Terry & Mac did it. It was decent for the first few years of B&B. The best WYC moments were live at Score remotes with long time guys like Cleveland Mike, Cheesehead Scott, Rafy from Berwyn & Irish Bill. God I miss those days. Good times.
