If your going to have Jimmy Fallon take over for Leno, ok but why start him at midnight eastern and during the Olympics, why not wait until next Monday?

Justin Timberlake isnt! They are gona Rocka rocka rocka rocka rocka, new parody, in a very unusual latent homosexual way that will be on the right or left border of every website you go to with headlines like "JIMM/JUSTIN DO HISTORICAL ACT"

Jimmy and his "I just woke up hairdo", are a SNL skit that has run its course

It would help if any of these commercials were even a little bit funny.

I'm on the fence with Fallon. I like his co-host who is another Andy Richter-type. They are funny together.
He's ok,not terrible, not great but better than Jay.

This is the best time to start him. NBC is probably doing pretty well w/ the Olympics late night, & are using it to get some eyes on his show.

Jimmy Fallon could take a shit on my cat and I'd still LOVE him.

Jimmy
Conan
Craig
Jimmy Kimmel
Seth
Dave

Accolades to Pete Holmes as well, his show is hilarious, different format though. kinda like Kroll Show.
I want to be happy and Fallon makes me laugh every night, so fuck you.

Got 10 other shows I will watch before someone needs to delve into the minds of actors or actresses for me while they pimp their latest movie.

I am sure it still happened when I was younger, but when I watched carson, you felt like it was a real conversation and the purpose of the person being there wasnt to promote something.

Then you progressed to Letterman over the years because he was the anti carson.

Now I assume any guests on any talk show will be there to sell me something, intertwined with a cute story that a writer asked them 'Anything funny happen to you over the past 3 days?" YAWNNN

for the kids out there, thats Johnny Carson, not Carson Daly!

When I first heard this news I kind of thought that Jimmy would lose it too and Jay would be brought back. However, I think at this point they are probably all in with Jimmy and Jay is done.

Fallon's show has been solid the times I've watched it. I'm kind of glad he stuck to what he knows & hasn't changed anything to keep the blue hairs around. I'm pretty sure after Jay left they went over to Dave anyways, because he reminds them of their dead 3rd husbands.

Fallon's interviews are more fun than Jay's. Jay was always a "set-up-response" deal. Too much pre-interview pre-planning. Almost like the whole thing was scripted. None of these other shows are like that.

CA,
I like Jimmy, but his interview skills could use some coaching. The other day,I saw him interview Denzel Washington. He talked for 4 minutes of the 5 minute interview. He mentioned how his Uncle played ball at the same college as Denzel and dragged that on for most of the "interview". That's bad!

The Mike Mulligan/Mike North school of interviewing.

It's not great, but it isn't mundane. That's why he keeps them short.
