those 888-709-LIMO commercials have popped up to become the PTFB that's usually reserved for K-A-R-S KARS FOR KIDS!!!! i mean yeah you hear the jingle enough and whatever, its catchy and i reckon i'd be proud of it too if i were them.... but all of these reads lately that go on and on and then drop the 888-709-LIMO name = oh no you're gonna go into that 30 second spot with the stupid theme song aren't you? and invariably, yes, they are..... i mean i make it to the first few notes/drum-hitches of the proper jingle just to make sure i'm listening for that one time where the read doesn't go into the jingle..... but alas they're perfect thus far, which means it's over to thom hartmann or talkSPORT until i know it's safe to come back and get yelled at by my favorite local sports demagogue.

Oh yeah, that CBS Marketing Masters thing where they interview, like, Allstate Mayhem Guy and also someone from the ad agency who created Allstate Mayhem Guy? I have no idea why those even run.

I was getting tired of the Chase spots where the Malnati's guy says "we picked Chase because their values are really similar to ours." Barf.

Nort did an ad for a car dealership, many moons ago. He was talking up one of the new conversion vans, and he said, "it has carpeting nicer than my house!".

Port fee. But otherwise, spot on. Evidently, scamming pays big time. They sure do have loads of cash to spend on radio ads. I used to think it reflected poorly on us as an audience, but now I suspect there's just more to be gained by fleecing the idiots than trying to advertise actual worthwhile products, so long as you can find an outlet sleazy enough to allow it.

There's a Comcast commercial where a guy is about to tell us how much of a better ISP Comcast is than U-Verse. However, he can't access all the information he needs because he's using an oh-so-slow U-Verse connection. I don't think he identifies himself as a U-Verse customer, so why would someone presumably working for Comcast be using U-Verse as their ISP? Did I miss something at the beginning of the commercial.

There is also a Townstone Financial commercial where David Hochberg wants to know how many reverse mortgages those celebrity endorsers have done because they haven't done as many as he has. No one thinks Henry Winkler is doing the paperwork on their reverse mortgage, David.

Suburban mom pumping gas with the mega bass thumping in her minivan, swelling the windows, slips the credit/dbit card into her front pocket, then flashes the club dance move.

Multiple players of FAIL, she should be banned from the actors guild and the creator of the ad drawn and quartered.

Getting sick of these commercials about the blind.

And, yeah, the background music/noise of that Comcast commercial strikes a nerve like no other. Don't know what it is, but it pisses me off every time I hear it. Same goes for some ad about whatever your strongest muscle it. I immediately turn off my radio the second I hear that ad start.

At least half of the time, the McDonalds commercial with the "two diva bosses" totally cuts out the first diva boss. You only get the second one, demanding extra big mac sauce. So pathetic.

"My blindness doesn't hold me back........ but I have this disorder that only blind people seem to have that keeps me from sleeping so I can't function during the day. So I guess my blindness does actually hold me back....Maybe I'll just confuse you further by no being able to enunciate and having 3/4 of the people listening to this commercial think i just said Nine Twenty Four...."

Jake From State Farm is Academy Award material compared to these.
