So, this person risked far more jail time and fines to run if it was simply a license issue.

Yes, I would have. If you came up to me with broken english and then fled the scene, id assume you were illegal.

If you spoke good english, Id assume you have some legal trouble and you cant deal with police.

If I really thought No english = illegal, Id assume all those people I work with are illegal. But I dont, because they didnt flee the scene of an accident

Ya know what, Nas is partially right. I admit it.

Fleeing the scene led me to believe she was in some sort of legal trouble.

The fact that she had no license and spoke broken english (any color from any country) led me to believe the most likely legal issue was immigration status.

If thinking that immigration is the most likely crime of people who live in America and dont speak english is stereotyping, then Im guilty
