It's amazing to me that Nas seems to be warning against the dangers of racial stereotypes while also claiming that "illegal immigrant" is a racial stereotype and that "broken English" could be used to describe a certain race.

The fact of the matter is just about everyone in the thread is a little out of sorts.

The fact of the matter is that it is textbook racial profiling to assume this broad is an illegal immigrant based on what we know. That said, it's also the heavy odds-on favorite as well, and to ignore that is to be, as was noted earlier, purposely obtuse. Whatever baggage one attaches to this broad (likely) being an illegal immigrant is a matter of personal choice and experience - right or wrong.

The fact of the matter is that Nas' points aren't necessarily off, but his taking it personally is a bit off-putting to the majority of those that have posted in this thread - right or wrong. That, and his railing on others for making unfounded assumptions by using unfounded assumptions is a bit off-putting as well. I think he means well though.

The fact of the matter is if we knew everything about that lady we might understand why she did what she did - but she's still almost certainly a Caller Bob for doing it.

Hopefully the car has comp/coll coverage (most likely the latter will be the coverage in question). If not, I'd like to make a brief PSA to those that don't carry it - likely with perfectly good reason - that some companies offer a much more economical coverage that will cover the car if someone else hits the car ... for the sake of brevity (though not accuracy) think of it as collision coverage when you're not at fault.

I think the term that should be used is "illegal alien." Immigration is legal when the process is followed. Violating the law doesn't make you an immigrant. I understand working a low-level job here makes a lot more than working a more sophisticated job in a poorer country, but that doesn't mean that as a society we shouldn't be enforcing our own laws.

The problem is that the Democrats want to give citizenship to all the illegals, so that they can register as Democrats and it will be a lock that Republican president is never elected again.
