Stumbled upon this movie over the weekend, saw that it had a 95% approval rating on rotten tomato so we rented it. Great movie. What made it even better was that I had no idea who these people were or what happened so I was completely surprised throughout. How often can you say that about a historical movie?

For those who don't know its a movie about a famous rivalry between two formula 1 drivers in the 70s, one an english playboy played by Thor and the other a straight edged German guy. Two polar opposites who battle on and off the track.

I'm not a fan of race car driving, but this was a really good movie.

The real "Rush" is a drug movie about undercover narcs in texas..very good.

Senna. Great documentary. I think it's about the drivers you were talking about.

Best movie I saw in theaters in the last year or so.

Pre-80's F1 had some great personalities. The Senna documentary is really good. Bummed I missed seeing Rush in the theatre.

Senna's rival was Alain Prost. Niki Lauda and James Hunt are the focus of Rush.

Senna-Prost was the 80's. Lauda-Prost was the 70's. Both the film and the doc were good. Those guys were global superstars when Michael Jeffery Jordan was still using a hair pick.

I just stumbled onto this , What a great movie, I have zero interest in car racing n had my doubts ... Very surprised how good this was.
