That's what Matt gets for hitching his wagon to Beerstain. Dan will never promote one of his underlings or recommend them for a job. Mac does that all the time. He's always pimping his boyquarium lickspittles on the air. I don't think Matt has much ambition for his own show. How could you want your own show then go on the air and spew forth the most idiotic and inane thoughts imaginable? I think being in B+B pit of despair has worn Matt out. He's used to be an ok listen around 2006-07ish. Never great but just a generic sports show that took calls and didn't go on moral crusades or sing parody songs every hour.

THE GAME starts up. They're looking around. Who do we take? The Jack ass who acts a fool all the time on B&B or Finfer? Easy decision. Finfer gets it. I'm sure Mac helped Finfer land this gig as well. But if Finfer acted the way drinky did, no help from Mac would have mattered.

Finfer is very likeable. And that's refreshing after listening to hour after hour of bernstein clones. It almost makes up for his voice, which is not exactly made for radio.

But this move isn't about Finfer at all. It's about Mac. Either Mac to The Game is already a done deal or Decastro is hoping bringing Finfer over will help him to get Mac. That's it.

After his second "episode"...Mitch brings him back...AGAIN....that took some balls and trust OOORRR was he "buying" a bit of...leverage perhaps with Mac if he is thinking of going? It's accurate to say I'm more relaxed with Finji, but do I enjoy myself more???? I don't know if I'd go that far. More than ANY co-host with whom I've shared the cockpit, Ben doesn't sweat the small stuff. He can take a punch without flinching. He can make a mistake without beating himself up over it. He knows it's only radio and nobody is going to die on the operating table if we have a bad segment or six. Note that I'm saying this about Finji when comparing him to ALL of my radio wives over the years, not just Spiegs.
