This looks like a trip...originally when I heard about this movie I couldn't have cared less but now I think I'm as stoked for it as any of the Marvel films since The Avengers.

Seems like it could be almost two hours of mindless entertainment.

I think Rocket is the big thing selling it on me...first thought was it was going to be a cartoonish mess that would just destroy the whole thing, but it looks like it's going to be what they've been promising...a realistic raccoon that talks and shoots...

My thoughts exactly. I knew nothing about them, but understanding the "mistfit" angle has certainly helped me get a better grip on what this will be. Looks good.

Shocked he came off as well as he did. I think this was one of the biggest reasons I couldn't picture how this would work.



Will be interesting to see how Bradley Cooper sounds as the voice.

BTW, Cap 2 is the most I've been stoked for a Marvel movie short of Avengers. It looks awesome, and while I'm sure it could just be studio people leaking it, there seems to be a lot of chatter about it being the best Marvel movie yet.

Not difficult to accomplish.

Not a huge Favreau fan. I'm worried what he is going to do to the upcoming Elfstones of Shannara series.

Iron Man 2 is the top of your list?

Iron Man 1 is really really good. Iron Man 2 was just ok. I liked 3 better than 2.

I assumed we were talking about all the Marvel franchises. As for the current crop directly from Marvel, the best is Avengers.

I don't get the hate on it .... they took two villians and synthesized a decent enough one .... a metric fuckload better than the rape job on The Manchurian. Maybe not out and out better than the first ... I'll go with equal footing but not worse and most certainly not awful.

Avengers would probably be my favorite of the bunch...but I certainly didn't "get into it."

It turned what would have been a completely boring 3+ hour flight to a manageable 3+ hour flight.

I am grateful for that at least.
