This.

I don't agree either that any of the three are rated highly by anyone.

No. You are, and will always be, a peach.

You think he hasn't popped back up as a mult here or back at Midwest?

Absolutely not here, no ... I'd sooner believe McNown had a previous screenname ... er, wait .....

Boy you are really stuck on this. You don't think Biggie's silence speaks volumes? I'm not his favorite guy. He's sure not gonna help me in a debate.

You guys sure nailed in the other thread of what my supposed original name was.

So why don't you press Biggie for an answer? I've asked him 3 times now.

Or in the words of Castor Troy, "why couldn't you just kill yourself? Or let it go?"

Hey look! Chas disappeared for a day or 2 after getting his ass handed to him yet again and starts right up on his high horse thinking we forgot about him.

Hey Chas how about you tell us what your BAC was when you crashed the garbage truck?

He WAS a garbage man. Or claims he was. Then he claims he got hurt on the job and sent packing with nothing but his SS Disability check. We've called bullshit. I'm just curious what his BAC was when he got injured.

Jimmiepasta is my favorite poster. I can joke with him about his Cubs thoughts and he doesn't get offended. Unlike some posters Score Is Doomed who are mad at the world and take it out on a message board.

Keep trying there Champ. You are thinking of Scorehead. Not me. Biggie can feel free to verify any time.

And since you joined the board 3 years after I used this supposed other name, I really think you're an expert on the topic.

I don't have a problem with him either.

+1. He never gets really personal. He's a crotchety old ball buster who's likely to die soon. I'm cool with Walt here.

He's like 30

Huh? I don't think I was THAT fucked up at Bagels house that one day. Pretty sure he's at least 50.

you know, in the grand history of the board the only poster i can truly say was "overrated" was speeps. and that's not breaking bad on the guy cuz he left, or because he is someone that i don't like.... it's just that i could never figure out what made him such a mostly-beloved board institution for awhile other than the fact that he was always around and posting a lot.

RPB detractors say that about RPB, but RPB is basically upgraded the speeps role to someone who actually has something to say... whereas speeps was just kind of..... hmm how can i say it? he wasn't really outspoken but he had his beliefs.... but he tended to be a bit of a windsock with the directions the board was going with certain people/shows/media (until he str8up started running for office with his whole ReVolution thing, which later spun off into THE BIG SHOW counterculture and even later the other board) and well, idk.... he just seemed like "kind of a pretty big deal" during the peak of his "era" here (cuz there definitely is a speeps era, much like there was a degendave era and there was an IS0P era, a guest posting era, etc) and really, i mean, other than having a high volume of posts i dont think he brandished a cult of personality that really endeared himself to some and polarized others. LET THE RECORD SHOW.... that there's only a few posters on the other board, and that says something.

otherwise people are about where i rate them, and even if i did have any thoughts on who the actual overrated posters on this board in the present day are you wouldn't get them cuz i aint taking that bait. i almost did in defending me and ike in the wake of PUSSIESgate, but still.... i gotta remember that my rap idol aceyalone once started off a verse str8up saying "i'm aceyalone and i transcend" ---- logos is an important part of branding, you know! =D

edit: btw, man, the song in which acey said that is totally apropos in terms of symbolizing me and ike in the wake of PUSSIESgate. suffice to say when the man talks about the fundamental problems of transcendentalism i can relate =D

If you look at all the really long niche threads, i.e. wrestling, Game of Thrones, board drama, Dr Who, Nascar, etc. Terry's Peeps was a big presence in all of those. RPB, Frank, NAS etc. have a lot of posts, but they're not into everything sub-interest that presents itself here. That's why, in addition to being generally amiable, Terry's Peeps is/was so well liked. "Oh, TP's my guy, he's a GOT/WWE/Anti- KW/Dr. Who/insert-subgenre-here guy."

Oh well. People go their separate ways. Wonder where Juggs went off to.

booked a weekend @ the honeymoon suite at the sybaris with carrie? go figure the BUCKS SOLID thread isn't as prominent as it usually is.... .but that could be part and parcel to the bucks sucking too.

idk, i retain an account on the the board and i'm usually htere for the wrestling talk (cuz you're spot on about speeps with teh niche stuff. me and him talked doctor who via board/PMs in past, but not nearly as much as me and beebo do. good dude there.) and yeah he's good for all of that, so i suppose that endeared him to people who liked niche/thread X on the board.

its just in general it felt like he was on the mount rushmore of CSFMB posters during the peak of his era here, and well, for the love of god i couldn't figure out why. i guess in today's society where jimmy fallon is being installed as "the voice of the like [button] generation" with the social implications that CH touched on in his fantastic post in the Jimmy and Justin thread, there's a push to get us to accept the new status quo of media/related I/O so basically nowadays you're supposed to exalt people who are there (on tv/internet/media) simply because you're there (which is likely the natural kneejerk response to "old" media in the age of the internet where theoretically any idiot can publish a blog/webpage that theoretically billions could read) so yeah nowadays i guess anyone who's in a position of sorts, good/bad/otherwise, is supposed to be admired simply becuase they exist in said position.

i dont know the witty latin for it, but "cogito ergo sum" would be replaced with whatever the latin for "i matter because i exist" and that's really encapsulating the speeps phenomenon on the CSFMB, at least according to my crazy ass.

btw, isn't "i matter because i exist" basically the whole jesus thing in a nutshell? * smiles and ducks *

i dont know the witty latin for it, but "cogito ergo sum" would be replaced with whatever the latin for "i matter because i exist" and that's really encapsulating the speeps phenomenon on the CSFMB, at least according to my crazy ass.

Google Translate, albeit hysterically unreliable for Latin, yields "Ego sum ergo maximus sum," or "I am, therefore I am important."
