And Kirkwood, one of the pillars of their board at its inception was censorship.

They excluded my others to start with, including personal "friends." And then made it clear that there was a strict screening process once in. Including being awarded some sort of board status. Rookie, Full Member and so on.

The lack of self awareness in a bunch of guys that left to "escape" censorship and mean spiritedness in allowing something like this to remain on their site, is nothing short of amazing.

The posts should have been deleted. The argument is we didn't approve of what was being posted BUT we just didn't have the time to delete the posts or ban the account. However we did have the time to post replies to the character and left it all up for the world to see.

On today’s program, we’re going to look at a renovation that is somewhat unusual. This is a home that, despite being built recently, is in complete shambles. This home, in its current condition, would not be out of place in a shanty town. In my expert opinion, the architects in charge of designing this house were clearly in way over their heads.

Unfortunately here, we need to start with the basics: the foundation. No matter how fancy your cobblestone driveway is or sophisticated your meth lab is, if your foundation is shaky you are asking for trouble. These homeowners attempted to build their home on a foundation of lies, deceit, jealousy and hatred. The only solution at this point is to gut the house, raze everything and start taking out the trash.

I also caution everyone that the inhabitants may not be very friendly. Sometimes when you are dealing with those persons responsible for such a catastrophic failure, it can be very humbling to have someone such as myself come in and clean up the mess. McCracken, you can get started over by the rat droppings and the moldy drywall.

Revisionist history isn't brave. Whoever the asshole was, they wrote what they wrote. Not deleting it is not the same as giving it one's blessing (the blessing!! ... Grace died thirty years ago).

I believe I would've been more demonstrative about that sort of thing being very much frowned upon, but to excise it like it didn't happen I find kinda distasteful. Probable exceptions might be personal information, danerous links (viruses, etc), that kind of thing.

Doesn't make me smart for saying that; just what I think the ideal is. Don't know for sure what you'll do until you have ability to make the actual decisions, but that's what I believe would be at the front of the decision making process for me anyway.

I don't know; those posts were written by some gutless wonder. But to pretend it didn't happen I think might also be insulting to you in a different way. You may feel differently, and that's totally cool.

I think people myself included signed up there without knowing the details fully. After about a week or whatever when all the crap came out I haven't revisited. May have peaked but no posts etc. Are you looking at members list or actual posts? I never deleted mine I probably should.
