I tried Makers Mark long ago but did not give it much of a chance. I am a scotch guy. Is bourbon better now? I am being serious. I do not remember it being all that great. Got some regular Makers Mark and gonna sample now. Plenty on the shelf here in Hooterville. I will report back soon on my take.

One shot straight. Chugged it. Not bad. Flavorful. A little burn in throat back but really enjoyed the taste. Tried it on the rocks enjoyed this too. A little water after the shot seems to help the flavor come through a bit. Not bad at all.
