You contemplated relocating the actual Super Bowl game 6 days before the game this past year! Due to possible weather conditions, but you are not sure if your can relocate the Super Bowl with 11 months notice?

As Mac said, New Orleans could be ready in 6 hours for the event! All they need to do is kick out some other bad convention that can go to Vegas or ,.,,,Arizona!

No need to be leaking info about this damn issue, just come out and say it!

This is the second time that cracker wanna be state has pulled this kind of shit and yet, you keep giving these asswipes the damn game? The city isnt even capable of handling the damn event ??? They barely have enough hotel rooms, they have no transportation systems, few dining options, etc.

Its a shit choice to give them a Super Bowl, even without this bill.....but the fact it is even making it to the Governors desk! Just pull the damn game and let them do whatever they want.

Everyone I know that was there, including those that live there, had nothing good to say about it last time.

The 'resorts" there, in the hills are already REALLY expensive, I can only imagine what they charge for SB weekend. $700 a night I am guessing is an avg.

The weather was a near thing. It was fairly cold, just 2 days prior. Would the crowd have disappeared if it were too cold, or worse, whether a blizzard would have hit? Would have answered the question, one way or the other.

Good point.

Football has never been played in the cold or snow.

Looking at a Panasonic Mini Split to heat the basement.

Can you and Chus argue the relative merits and help me decide which way to go on this?

I guess they need about 2 years and 2 months lead time based on the last time this kind of happy horseshit was pulled.

Anyway Brewer has apparently vetoed it, so at this point it's all academic.

It just reinforces the idea I have that guns aren't the problem, it's that the wrong people are getting shot in the face.

Well I am glad of that so now Bernsie can stfu. Geez with this, and I say this because I assume it would be vetoed, I was subjected to really dumb radio. Not only that but it set ZZ off on a sub for Sir show of rehashing Redskins stuff. I really would like an extended time period where no politics is in sports.

I was positing that Dan will continue to speak upon the subject even though it is technically "over", in opposition to your posit that he will not.

he is right about finding out how this even got to the desk of a governor to sign! When things that makes sense take generations of time.

Yes, I know it is MONEY, which is the root of our evil government, but he should be the guy who traces it back!

They should have someone on who can explain Arizona's culture of hate, because like Terry said, it just doesn't make sense.

No they didn't. They contemplated changing the day and time of the game, but not the actual location.
