Oh yes there is, but I chose not to have this 3 minutes of the show get lost in said 'Show Thread" . for the Spiegel lovers, it was a special few minutes, some deep seeded issues almost popped up....I think that was an intense commercial break.

Did Mac go "Rust" to Spiegel's "Marty"?

It was good. Mac basically told Spiegs that he can't handle it if someone has an opinion that differs from something he (Spiegs) is passionate about. In this case it was about the NBA. It got intense.
Edit: Funny part was when Mac told Spiegs that every job has one "toilet to scrub" and watching the NBA is the "toilet" Mac has to scrub for his job.

Spiegs was awfully speechless, Mac came ready to fire, Spiegs wanted no part of this segment. Got a feeling it wont be coming back anytime soon.

I've been listening to Mac & Spiegs for a long time and I can't remember a more awkward exchange between these two ever. If there was, i would like to hear about it...

Ok podcast is up. Just listened . Mac did give it to Spiegs a bit there and call him out but I don't think it was this uncomfortable radio thing its purported to be. Uncomfortable radio meter is at 6 for this one.

I will go 7+ and thats because it was so short.

It wasnt like a great back and forth, I think Spiegs was kinda shocked it went like that and he didnt know if he should really let loose or keep his moth shut. Remember, Spiegs saved the show while Mac was in the TOO SMOKEY HUSKAW

Mac really comes off as a giant asshole sometimes and this is one such occasion even though there may have been some truth to what he was saying. "You can't hurt my feelings". My ass you can't. Mac is almost as sensitive as Spiegel.

Saved it? Are you nuts? It was completely unlistenable with easily two of the most unlikeable people on SCR on at the same time.

Maybe he meant it sarcastically, cause the ratings sure show he sunk the show.

Larry sunk the show but Meat was too much of a bitch to bitch slap him when he started to take control.

Meat is OK in my book, most of the time, but his failure during Mac's absence was one of not taking control and putting Larry in his proper place.

I thought that was good radio. I wish B&B would go after each other like that...at least it would show some life from Terry.
